Rachel has a decade of industry experience inclusive of wedding, corporate, sports, entertainment, hospitality, and academic event industries in Massachusetts, New York, and Maine. Seeking professional and emotional renewal, she sought refuge during the pandemic and relocated to Maine. As soon as she set foot in this state she was reenergized and found that she had finally found "home." She quickly began her work in the events field at several local wedding vendors and found herself at a crossroads - it was there that she dreamed up her own wedding design and planning company, Maiden Events.
Professionally, she is a perfectionist, a lover of lists, and nothing quite makes her day as when a plan comes together. The act of making connections with people, understanding their vision, their love, and their lives, and then proceeding to recreate these things in their special celebrations is what inspires Rachel to continue in this line of work. Offline, you will find her either cooking and eating new foods, with her nose in a good book, playing soccer, or perusing the local dog park attempting to live vicariously through her new dog owner friends. She lives in Freeport, ME and enjoys getting outdoors to enjoy all of the natural beauty Maine has to offer.
